Other than that I don't think it will cause any major issues down the line, just make sure that no wires can interfere/melt onto the exhaust and you will be fine. I have removed all mine except the cat ones only because they haven't rattled yet. The noise level is also different, sometimes it is a softer rattle that is on the quieter side, while other times it is more harsh and rather loud.
