Potentiometer pcb footprint

Web3 Feb 2024 · A PCB footprint is a component's graphical object that represents its physical and connectivity form when it is placed in a PCB document. The footprint includes both electrical and mechanical connection information (primarily indicated by PCB pads) and allows the components to be interconnected by tracks in a board layout design. WebBasically this is 2 potentiometers, one for each axis. Each potentiometer will have 3 pins. Hook up GND to one end, VCC to the other end and the middle pin goes to an analog pin on your microcontroller. Have your microcontroller read the analog voltage.

WebEach footprint features a high quality, dimensionally accurate, correctly colored 3D model. Every 3D model in the library is created from scratch to the manufacturer's drawings. This attention to detail ensures excellent 3D collision checking and eases MCAD integration when designing enclosures and associated parts. WebNotice the right-most drawing, that is what you should draw for the PCB footprint and there are 3 circular holes you should solder. If you intended this to be a solder-less part, this particular potentiometer is not ideal. In the datasheet listed this is marked with the annotation "SNP not possible", or "snap-in" not possible. dipp analytics https://revolutioncreek.com
